FAQ
Can we customize our package?
Yes! I want your wedding day to reflect you and your dreams for the day. We can add time, take time away (with a minimum of four hours). For example: one added hour is $500 or take one hour away is -$500.
Do you recommend a second shooter?
In most cases, I absolutely recommend having a second shooter. Your wedding day is filled with so many moments happening at once, and while I’m intentional about capturing the full story, having a second photographer allows for even more depth and coverage. It ensures those small, in-between moments aren’t missed or rushed, and that your day is documented as fully and thoughtfully as possible.
Second shooter price starts at $260, covering 4 hours.
How far do you travel and what are your rates?
I’ll go wherever your love takes you—no location is too far.
Driving travel fees are calculated based on total mileage, with a portion of travel included depending on your package.
To calculate travel, I take the round-trip mileage, subtract the included miles (50 miles total for a Standard or Mini package, or an estimated 120 miles total for Full Day packages), and multiply the remaining miles by $0.70 per mile, which is slightly below the current U.S. mileage rate.
In simple terms:
(Total round-trip miles − included miles) × $ 0.70
Depending on location, lodging or flight costs may apply. Any additional travel accommodations will always be discussed in advance and included in your total investment before the contract is signed, so there are no surprises.
Is an engagement session included?
Engagement sessions aren’t included in the wedding packages, but I do offer a pretty great perk—once you’ve signed a wedding contract with me, you’ll receive 30% off any portrait session for your engagement photos. It’s a fun way for us to spend more time together before the big day and get you comfortable in front of the camera.
What is your retainer fee?
To officially hold your wedding date, a non-refundable retainer is required at the time of signing the contract. This simply ensures your date is reserved just for you and that no other weddings are booked that day. The retainer amounts are:
$500 for Mini Wedding Collections
$650 for Standard Wedding Collections
$800 for Full Day Wedding Collections
The retainer will be applied toward your total package price, and your date is considered officially booked once both the signed contract and retainer payment are received.
